4 WAYS WE MAKE OURSELVES MISERABLE

  1. Unable to forgive. Hold grudges. Can’t let go.
  2. Dwell on past mistakes. No one is perfect. Learning from our mistakes is a way to grow and become a better person. Get over yourself and move on.
  3. Fume about something every day. Politics, people, mandates, the weather, and a host of other immaterial things. One way to get people to avoid you..
  4. Beat yourself up. Focus on failures, instead of accomplishments.

As you can see, everything on the list is about negativity. Reject anything associated with it, such as hate, jealousy, self-absorption, etc. The key to happiness is staying positive.

I like this quote by Walt Whitman: “Keep your face always toward the sunshine—and shadows will fall behind you.”
