What is it about the classic 1946 movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, that makes us love it so? Jimmy Stewart’s portrayal of benevolent George Bailey is one reason. But perhaps the reason is George’s revelation that his life does indeed matter. Like him, we sometimes don’t even know it when we’ve touched someone’s life.
So what did George learn? He learns this: Lives matter, people matter, and the most important lesson of Christmas—LOVE matters. For more lessons learned from this wonderful movie, I recommend Bob Welch’s book, 52 Little Lessons from It’s a Wonderful Life, available on Amazon.
