Yesterday #tolerance means trended on Twitter. In case, you’re not a Tweet-freak like me, I thought I would share some of the responses. Some are meaningful, and some are funny.
#Tolerance Means:
Respect for different points of view
Not being a bigot.
I don’t  punch you, even when you deserve it
I value your opinion even though I may not agree
Accepting people for who they truly are without being judgmental.
Treating others as you would want to be treated.
I breathe secondhand smoke without punching you in the face.
Not killing the person who’s kicking the back of your seat on an airplane
Tolerance and apathy are the last virtues of a dying society
Shutting your mouth sometime and listening to what others have to say.
Accepting other people’s flaws and not always being reactive
Taking his dirty socks off the table constantly and not shoving them down his throat.
Is the positive and cordial effort to understand another’s beliefs, practices, and habits without necessarily sharing them or accepting them.
