I found out today that if you Google “animals in the snow,” the results are amazing. Some are breathtaking. Ah Google…..What did we do before we knew you? You’re like the Wizard of Oz. You’re like Gandalf, Yoda and Dumbledore all in one. Oh, you have your dark side, too. Because of you, we can’t just NOT know something. Some of you Millennials don’t remember a time when you couldn’t get the answer to a question at the touch of an iPhone. You may find this to be a scary thought, but we managed somehow. Perhaps we were blissfully ignorant, but it just wasn’t THAT important to find out in the moment why dogs wag their tails, the capital of Uzbekistan, or when the next episode of “The Greatest American Hero” was. (You’re Googling that show right now, aren’t you? We could wait until we got home to our encyclopedia set and our TV guide. In the meantime, we might have even hypothesized about such things. You might even say we were thinkers. Now, we are knowers. And you, Google, you give us knowledge, sometimes false, which makes us feel powerful. And we all know that with great power comes great responsibility, right? But, I digress.
